- 200g of spaghetti
- 150g minced beef or mix
- 1 medium onion
- 1 clove of garlic
- 400g crushed tomato
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 glass of red wine (optional)
- Salt, pepper and oregano to taste
- Grated Parmesan cheese to serve
How to prepare it step by step?
Preparation
- Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic.
- Heat a large frying pan with the olive oil and sauté the onion over medium heat for 5 minutes until transparent.
- Add the chopped garlic and meat. Cook, stirring, until completely browned and loses its pink color.
- Pour in the red wine (optional) and let the alcohol evaporate for 2-3 minutes.
- Add the crushed tomato, a pinch of salt, pepper and oregano. Reduce heat and cook over low heat for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally until the sauce thickens and flavors meld.
- Meanwhile, boil the spaghetti in plenty of salted water until al dente. Drain and reserve a little of the cooking water.
- Mix the pasta with the Bolognese sauce, adding a splash of the cooking water if necessary to integrate better.
- Serve hot with grated Parmesan cheese on top.
