  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 400g crushed tomato
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 glass of red wine (optional)
  • Salt, pepper and oregano to taste
  • Grated Parmesan cheese to serve

Preparation

  1. Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic.
  2. Heat a large frying pan with the olive oil and sauté the onion over medium heat for 5 minutes until transparent.
  3. Add the chopped garlic and meat. Cook, stirring, until completely browned and loses its pink color.
  4. Pour in the red wine (optional) and let the alcohol evaporate for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Add the crushed tomato, a pinch of salt, pepper and oregano. Reduce heat and cook over low heat for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally until the sauce thickens and flavors meld.
  6. Meanwhile, boil the spaghetti in plenty of salted water until al dente. Drain and reserve a little of the cooking water.
  7. Mix the pasta with the Bolognese sauce, adding a splash of the cooking water if necessary to integrate better.
  8. Serve hot with grated Parmesan cheese on top.
