What does it include?

- 200 g minced pork
- 50 g finely chopped cabbage
- 2 chopped chives
- 1 clove of garlic, minced
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- Gyoza dough (dough discs)
- Vegetable oil for frying
- Water for steaming
How to prepare it step by step?
Preparation
- Mix the meat, cabbage, scallions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, and sesame oil until you obtain a homogeneous filling.
- Place a teaspoon of filling in the center of each dough disk.
- Moisten the edges with water, fold the dough, and seal by pressing with your fingers or making folds.
- Heat a frying pan with vegetable oil and brown the gyozas on the base for 2–3 minutes until golden.
- Add water to cover ⅓ of the height, cover, and steam for 5–6 minutes until the water evaporates.
- Uncover and let the base brown again for about 2 minutes until crispy.
- Serve hot with soy sauce and a touch of vinegar or chili for added flavor.
