- 2 salmon fillets (about 200g each)
- 240 ml tomato sauce
- 30 ml de whisky
- 1 egg white
- 15 ml Dijon mustard
- 4 large potatoes
- 30 ml butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped fresh parsley
How to prepare it step by step?
Preparation
- Heat the oven to 200°C
- Wash the potatoes, cut them into thick slices and roast them on a tray with butter, salt and pepper, for 30-40 minutes or until crispy.
- For the scotch sauce, mix the whiskey with the ketchup, egg white and mustard
- Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens.
- Place the salmon fillets in a steamer and cook until tender.
- Serve the salmon with the Scottish sauce and accompany with roast potatoes
- Garnish with fresh parsley
