How to prepare it step by step?
Preparation
- Mix powdered sugar, lime juice, and fish sauce and set aside.
- Heat the peanut oil in a wok or large frying pan over medium-high heat. Add the cilantro and ginger, sautéing for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the prawns and sauté for 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and are cooked through, ensuring they remain juicy.
- Add the green chili and crushed garlic, sautéing for 1 minute to release their aromas.
- In another skillet, heat a small amount of oil over medium heat. Sauté the scallions and red pepper for 2 minutes until slightly softened.
- Add the water chestnuts and bean sprouts to the skillet, mixing until the sprouts wilt slightly.
- Combine the prawns and vegetables, adding the soy sauce and the sugar-lime-fish sauce mixture. Toss everything together, ensuring the shrimp and vegetables are well coated.
- Serve hot accompanied by rice noodles and a few slices of lime on the side.
