- Pour the mixture into a greased mold and smooth the surface.

- Meanwhile, prepare a syrup with water, sugar, and rose water, boiling until it thickens slightly and has a syrupy consistency.
- When the basbousa is out of the oven, pour the hot syrup over it, allowing it to soak in.
