  3. Gradually add the boiled dashi mixture to the beaten eggs, whisking continuously.
  4. Incorporate the dissolved cornstarch to stabilize the mixture.
  5. Divide the shredded chicken, mushrooms, and chopped shrimp into ceramic serving cups or bowls.
  6. Fill the bowls 3/4 full with the egg mixture.
  7. Place the cups in a pot of hot water, ensuring the water reaches halfway up the cups.
  8. Simmer for 15-20 minutes until the flan is firm but slightly wobbly, as it will continue to cook in residual heat.
  9. Remove from heat and let cool before serving.
