How to prepare it step by step?
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 180°C and prepare a tray with greaseproof paper.
- Wash and finely chop the chard, removing the thick stems.
- In a frying pan, heat the olive oil and sauté the minced garlic for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the chopped chard and cook until tender and wilted, about 3–4 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper, then let cool slightly.
- In a bowl, mix the chard with the ricotta cheese and grated Parmesan until well combined into a smooth filling.
- Cut the puff pastry into squares of approximately 8x8 cm.
- Place each square in muffin molds, pressing lightly to form a little basket.
- Fill each basket with the chard and cheese mixture.
- Lightly beat the egg and brush the edges of the dough for a golden finish.
- Bake for 15–20 minutes until the dough is golden and crispy.
- Let cool for a few minutes before unmolding and serving as a starter or appetizer.
